Expected Death at Home – Clinical Resources
In order to prepare for the roll out of the Expected Death at Home documents, the following resources have been provided for training purposes.
What is EDAH?
Expected Death at Home (EDAH) is a provincial approach to help guide healthcare team members and to support patients through to natural death at home. EDAH assists in identifying key components to ensure a supportive experience for the patient and their caregivers and avoiding involvement with the coroner or RCMP unless the situation deems it necessary. EDAH is designed to support healthcare team members to ensure clear communication and planning is in place for all.
